It should be an automatic re-direct to the forum. There's nothing to really show on the homepage. You can have a link to the rarely updated and limited video game music gallery on the forum. Simple.

No, you wouldn't. It would simply be a re-direct page. It would still be there, but it would take you to the forum instantly.

Ive posted this many times (somehoe they get deleted) but i think the game smf should be on the homepage to make users know thats what we do. Cuase some guests may look and think its boring, they dont know about smf.

Actually there are four ways, Kley.

1: Type in the index's URL.
2: Page redirection.
3: Bookmarks.
4: Click on a link.

well, put the login for signed up members instead of scrolling all the saw down finding the Seth.D's forum regular Board Index in small letters...

If you're not going to have it redirect to the forum, I suggest making it as simple as possible. I would suggest having just a few links to important forum topics, a link to the forum, and a few external links: but nothing really "over the top." Make it look nice, but not cheesy. The current one is cheesy, and doesn't leave a good impression on the forum.

I prefer the old homepage better. It was simple, and simple is good.

We don't need fancy flash to make it seem better. As far as homepages go, the previous one was a lot better.

Not to mention, the delay before you can access the forum is very annoying.
