XDthegod: Greetings, and welcome to episode 12 of Channel 9 News. I'm XDthegod and here are Wesley Myers and Mr. Z.
Wesley: Thanks XD. Now, our top story tonight. As many of you may know, one of SMFE's cherished members, Princess Daisy, went on a mass topic deleting spree about a week ago, putting thousands of topics in jeopardy.
XDthegod: ...*giggle*
Wesley: ...What are you laughin at?
XDthegod: Heh... your last name is Myers...
Wesley: Ugh... not this again...
Mr. Ziggles: *AHEM* UHH, YES, and had it not been for Master Ride's idea to post at the PHPBB3 forums to request a forum restore, those thousands of topics would never again see the light of day.
Wesley: OH, YES, JUST CHANGE THE TOPIC AGAIN, BECAUSE THAT WORKED OUT SO WELL THE FIRST 400 TIMES.
XDthegod: Unfortunately, the Admins over at PHPBB3 support said that the forum restore would undo everything that happened in the past week, so some topics could not be recovered. But luckily, Goldengrat10, the SMF Patriot that he is, managed to save a select few level codes before the restore took place.
Wesley: Oh, I see, yea, OK, just ignore me...

Mr. Ziggles: Some predicted that she would lose it at one point, and those people are probably somewhere up the ranks of Amanda's Foe List. I would give names, but, yea...
XDthegod: Surely, a select few will mourn the loss of such cherished member. So while we bow our heads in a moment of silence, let's go over to Tommy Toad with sports.


SPORTS
Tommy Toad: OK, as you may know, there have been rumors about a professional hockey league starting up. Some franchises have already entered, including Vancouver Koopas and Pittsburgh Pokeys. Being the first two teams in the league, they will face off against each other at none other than the Koopa Coliseum, on the debut of such marvelous event. Of course, first they'll need to assign players to their team...


Mr. Ziggles: In older, less important news, the SMBX forums were shut down after the owner, Redigit, got fed up with dealing with all the "immature children" on the forums. SMBX being a fan-based Nintendo game, he should have expected nothing less than children, seeing as Nintendo is a gaming franchise for kids. Some were upset with his decision to close the forums, while others were happy and delighted to see him come to his senses. Some were fed up with the extremely strict rules, others despised the uptight and snobby staff. Regardless, the forums are no more. But for now, let's go over to Wesley with the interview portion of the broadcast.


INTERVIEWS WITH WESLEY

Wesley: Yes, it's that time of the show again! I will be interviewing... uhh, just, some random person. Whoever happens to want me to. Uhh, yea. Today I'll be interviewing Baby Mario164! OK, we only have time for seven questions, so let's get to it then shall we? Question 1: How does it feel to be on the show?
Baby Mario164: WOO YEAH!!! AWE--Err...Yea.Awesome.
Wesley: OK, great. Welcome once again to C9N, it's a pleasure to have you. So, as we mentioned earlier, Daisy annhialated a sixth of SMFE. What do you think about her decision?
Baby Mario164: Good!! GOOD I SAY!
Wesley: Well, that response was... well, rather quick... perhaps this question will make you thing a little harder. What is your opinion on Barack Obama's current progress as President?
Baby Mario164: IDK...
Wesley: Maybe it made you think too hard... uhh, what was the color of the shoes Neil Armstrong was wearing when he landed on the moon?
Baby Mario164: What Does This Have To Do With anything?
Wesley: Come to think of it, I have no idea how that question got in there... uhh, moving on... if you had one wish, what would you wish for?
Baby Mario164: For Jan To Die.
Wesley: Well, uhh... that's, uhh... a little harsh, doncha think... uhh, speaking of dying, do you think people will find a cure for cancer?
Baby Mario164: Soon Enough.
Wesley: ...BUT THAT'S NOT SOON ENOUGH! *ahem* uhh, anyways, on a completely irrelative note, do you think Redigit made the right choice in closing the SMBX forums?
Baby Mario164: Yes. Now We Have 1 Less Forum To Deal With.
Wesley: Hmm... well, uhh... that went by... uhh, a lot quicker than I expected...
Baby Mario164: TWSS!!!
Wesley: *ahem* uhh, yea... anyways... uhh, we still have another 5 minutes of this segment... um...
Baby Mario164: *Smacks Wesley In The Head With A Hammer* XP
Wesley: WELL, THAT WAS QUITE RUDE!
